Brooke is the sweetest little thing. She came all the way up from Iowa (I guess down from Iowa), for her senior session. They got up super early and made the trip so that we could make everything happen the same day. We met at the studio at 10am and started shooting! We were a little concerned that it might rain, especially after they came all this way. But we said you know what, we're gonna do this. We're gonna make it all happen in one day. They came in; we did her shoot, and YAY! There was no rain!! That same day in the afternoon they came back in and looked at Brooke's portraits. This is a great option for my clients who are from a long distance away. They can come in, do their shoot, go have lunch, do some shopping and then swing back in and look at their portraits and do their ordering session that same day so that they don't have to make two long trips to Colombia.
For some clients that can be really overwhelming, feeling like they have to choose everything the same day. For other clients, they love it. They are fully prepared to make those decisions. They know what they want, and they're good to go. In Brooke's case her mom had an I had actually worked together on her brother's senior portraits, so she knew what to expect. She knew what products she wanted. She knew what she was getting into in terms of making her decisions. This meant she wasn't shocked when she came in and we had to choose photos for an album and things. She already knew going in and so it wasn't overwhelming for her which was great!
