The day of Maddi's shoot there was about a 50/50 chance of rain. We weighed the benefits of going forward and options with rescheduling, and Maddie was ready to go. When we talked about it, we decided, "Hey, let's go for it." She wanted to go forward no matter what so that's what we did! We started her shoot on Mizzou campus because she is a legacy and she will be attending there as well. We were able to get some fun shots of her on campus as well as a gorgeous family portrait. Planning it this way allowed us to have her dad and brother come along for the first part of the shoot, and then we let them go on about their day.
As we went along we went downtown and we got some super cute images of her and the sporty kind of athleisure look, she had one of the shackets that were so in and she looked so cute in it! When we got to the park it really started raining heavily and so we pulled out this clear umbrella. I had an umbrella over myself as well and we got this super cute and unique shot of her on the bridge that is so emblematic of who Maddie is. She's a fun and up for anything kind of girl. She's not going to let a little rain dampen her parade or ruin her senior portrait session. She was going to rock it either way.
If you are a class of 2023 Senior and if not do your session now is the time to get in touch. I am currently booking sessions all the way through November of this year, so click the button below to get started.
