Ahh, the lovely Lily! She loves music and theater. Her prom her junior year ended up getting canceled because of COVID, so she had this beautiful red gown that she had never had a chance to wear. Naturally I said "Hey, bring it into the studio! Let's do something fun with it."
She came in and shot on the green screen and created this epic shot of her singing and then I composited it into this theater image and added some shading and light to really make her pop and it is one of my favorite images. I just love how it showcases her love for theater and music and her passion for singing and how serene her face looks when she's in the moment. Capturing each client's unique interests and hobbies is one of my favorite parts of being a senior photographer.
We had a ton of really fun locations in Columbia, MO for her session. We shot downtown and we also changed her hair up midway through the shoot so she could do these fun little pigtails and space buns, which we loved. It really gave her follow up outfits a totally different vibe.
Lily is actually the second senior I've shot for her family. Her older brother Rowan came through a couple of years ago (and I actually got to see him a few weeks ago for new headshots) and this family is one of my favorites. They are always a good time and her mom and I really just click and have a great time together and so I always love getting to catch up with them and see what everybody's been up to.
I am currently booking my Class of 23 Seniors all the way through October so if you have not booked your senior session, be sure to get in touch as soon as possible and get that session booked. Click the button below to get more information.
