Everyone, this is Mia! Mia is one of this year's senior models and I am SO happy to have her! Her family are some of my favorite people. I actually got to meet them when her brother Ethan was a senior. His portraits were pretty great, if I do say so myself. Believe me when I say that the good genes definitely run in this family.

Before her model shoot her mom and I chatted about ideas that would suit both Mia's personality and my style and we both agreed that this whimsical shoot was the one for her. We started with hair and makeup (thanks Stephanie!) where Mia's gorgeous locks were curled and fluffed to perfection and she got a soft makeup look. Getting your hair and makeup done is the BEST way to start a session. The seniors get to sit and relax, while the moms get to rest easy knowing they won't end up with some crazy look that is going to cause a battle. Plus, it holds up! The day of Mia's shoot it was extremely humid, and her hair has natural waves. Just look how perfect it stayed!

Mia has some interest in modeling, and this sweet girl has everything she needs! She is an absolute natural in front of the camera. Every shot she was so fierce, and would not stop giving face. I loved it! I can't wait to shoot her regular session. Hint hint- there will be sports portraits! That's right, this beauty is also a beast. Be sure to stay tuned for those!
