Ok, this girl though! Sydney is one amazing athlete as well as a drop-dead gorgeous sweetheart! When we went over her choices at the Outfit Consultation, I quickly realized that everything was going to look amazing on this girl. We had a ton of amazing options for the shoot, and it was hard for even me to narrow down the options. We decided that rather than limit her shoot and miss out on something amazing we would plan for it to run long and shoot everything we loved. This is the one time you are getting senior photos, and I want the shoot to be perfect for you!
Sydney is from a town near Columbia, and while it wasn't practical for us to gain access to the school the day of the shoot, that was ok. After her session, I was able to make arrangements to access the school and get some shots of the gym she's been playing into make the shots that much more special. We shot all of her sports portraits on the greenscreen at the studio then proceeded on with the shoot downtown and at a park here in Columbia, MO. It was perfect because with all of the outfits we loved, we were able to go to all of the perfect locations without worrying about the sun setting before we got there. My favorite look was this athletic sporty look of her ball cap, joggers, and tank. It is such an unusual look for senior portraits. I love that when we talked about incorporating outfits she would wear most days, the first thing that came to mind for her was this look. Even if you are the kind of girl who likes to wear athletic gear, it doesn't mean we should put you in a bunch of skirts. Your shoot should capture who you are right now, and that means throwing on some nice outfits, as well as something that is your daily look!
